In the first quarter of 2016, fujian province exported 96,000 tons of frozen fish and fillets, down by 6.9%, accounting for 45.5% of the total aquatic products exported in the same period. In the same period, exports of frozen shrimps totaled 3,354.3 tons, down 10.5 percent. In march, 37,000 tons of frozen fish and frozen fillets were exported, up 59.9%, accounting for 44.6% of the total aquatic products exported in March. In the same period, 1568 tons of frozen shrimps were exported, up 49.1%. Statistics show that fujian's seafood products are mainly exported to asean, Taiwan and the United States.
